The Seller hereby accepts a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 (to be given/mailed with contract to seller) toward the purchase of the puppy identified below.

The Full purchase price is $_______________.00 and the balance of $_________________.00 is due in full before the puppy is delivered by the Seller to the Buyer. Crate, Shipping, and any additional Handling expenses will be paid by and are the responsibility of the Buyer.

That the above puppy has been examined by a licensed Veterianarian and was found to be in good health.

That this puppy is being sold as a pet and companion animal. The application for registration of this puppy is limited (*) and this puppy is not being sold for the purposes of breeding. Unlimited registration can be obtained for an additional fee of $________.00 at the Seller's discretion

at Dog Shows but may compete in all other AKC events. The litter Owner may later apply to change this designation and have the dog given full registration priviledges, but a fee and special application are required for this change

That reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent this puppy from acquiring hereditary defects of the hips, eyes and heart. However, due to unknown hereditary and environmental causes of such defects, no guarantee will be given against them. That however, should said puppy be diagnosed by a board ceritfied specialist as being affected by one of the above defects, the Sellers will at their discretion take the puppy back and replace it with a puppy from another breeding within two (2) years for hips and one (1) year for all other genetic defects.

That this puppy will be examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt. If the puppy is returned due to illness, a verified letter from veterinarian is required. This includes death or illness from any health condition deemed present prior to removal from "Heart of Golden" premises.

That said dog will be given proper medical care including, but not limited to, vaccinations and annual boosters, regular deworming, adequate and proper shade and housing in a fenced yard or kennel. That the Buyer will groom, train and care for this dog in a manner consistent with high quality animal husbandry practices and those endorsed by the Breeder and the Golden Retriever Club of America. All Veterinarian fees and expenses shall be the reponsibility of the Buyer. Under no circumstances shall "Heart of Golden" be held responsible for any expenses for any puppy not in the possesion of "Heart of Golden". All disputes shall be handled under the laws and jurisdiction of California in the Superior Court of Tehama County, California.

That this dog will not be used for any purposes of research or vivisection and shall not be sold or given to any wholesale establishment, chain store, catalog sales house, pet store or puppy mill.
